Gov. Ron DeSantis nominates Kumar to his Transition Advisory Committee on the Economy

The newly elected Governor of Florida, Ron DeSantis has declared the list of members to his transition advisory committee on the economy this Wednesday. The 45-member committee, including Kumar Allady, CEO, RADISE International, comprises some of Florida’s most prominent experts who will help the Governor-elect shape the future of Florida’s economy for years to come.

The Transition Advisory Committee on the Economy will be chaired by former Speaker of the Florida House of Representatives and Managing Partner of Weatherford Capital, Will Weatherford.

Earlier, in a Nov 20 tweet Governor DeSantis has expressed his desire to build on the economic success Florida has seen under Former Governor (now Senator) Rick Scott. “I will build on @FLGovScott’s legacy of making Florida an attractive place for businesses,” DeSantis tweeted. “When job creators expand or move to our state, they provide more opportunities for families to realize their dreams,” he further added.

Kumar is a champion of Sustainable and Resilient Infrastructure and believes that the Smart Technology Services are headed to revolutionize the way the world builds, operates and maintains its infrastructure. RADISE, under Kumar’s, leadership will closely continue to work with Governor DeSantis to help the current and upcoming businesses grow in Florida.

Kumar has been working closely with the Governor’s office for a long time. His company, RADISE International has contributed greatly to generate employment and development of the overall economy in the Tampa Bay and other areas across Florida. In 2016, Governor Rick Scott of Florida had recognized Kumar with the Governor’s Business Ambassador Award.
