Dr. Goly serves as the Director of Engineering and Operations. In this role, he leads organizational strategy, project execution, technology development, team development & P&L at Smart Structures. He blends and leverages his expertise in multiple civil engineering and computer science disciplines to lead product innovation and solution design for infrastructural lifecycle monitoring.

Being a registered Florida Professional Engineer with over 5 years of considerable experience, Dr. Goly has designed and developed several infratech models and tools. Some of them include, Hydrological Data Analysis Tool (HDAT) for SFWMD, Bias Analysis Tool (BAT) for SFWMD, Water Budget Model (WBM), SmartPile®, and E-Pile Inspector. He has presented at several conferences and published over 15 technical articles in journals and conference proceedings.

Dr. Goly has been honored for his engineering achievements including Outstanding Engineering Achievement Award by National Engineers Council; Young Engineer of the Year by the Florida Engineering Society; Excellence in Research Award by Florida Atlantic University; William V. Storch Award by the American Water Resources Association; and the International RISE Fellowship by Indo-US STF.

Dr. Goly has a Ph.D. in Engineering from Florida Atlantic University, a Graduate Certificate in Advanced Entrepreneurship from Rollins College and a Master’s Degree in Engineering from Florida Atlantic University. He is also a Graduate of West Palm Beach Leadership Program. Additionally, Dr. Goly is an Associate Graduate Faculty at Florida Atlantic University, and serves on the Advisory Council Board of the Civil Environmental and Geomatics Engineering Departments at the same University.
